PBE Games : Archives

Hey folks. I've noticed an increase in bounced mail from two causes. The first, is mispelled email addresses. Web browsers retain form data you entered previously, so if you're not getting the results you think you should, double check email addresses in the form before hitting submit. The second and and much more common reason is sending results to mailing lists/discussion groups. If you want to send results to a mailing list or group, you MUST include [email protected] in your group as a sender-only member. No legitimate list/group service will allow random senders thanks to spammers. If you need help setting this up for your group, contact me via the contact form and I can probably help figure it out. Thanks! Mark

PBEM Rules Archives

The following documents are the final rules documents for the play by email games we have run in the past.

Eldritch

Eldritch is a computer moderated, play-by-email, strategy game of exploration and conquest for a variable number of players. Each player controls a FACTION, a group of champions and units, in a fantasy world where they can build an empire, explore the world, engage in trade, and/or study powerful magic. Each game of Eldritch runs either as an open-ended game, or until one or more factions meets the defined victory conditions.

Iron Kings

Iron Kings is a computer moderated, play-by-email, strategy game of exploration and conquest for a variable number of players. Each player controls a FACTION, a group of champions and units, in a medieval world where they can build an empire, explore the world, and/or engage in trade. Each game of Iron Kings runs either as an open-ended game, or until one or more factions meets the defined victory conditions.

Monsters

In Monsters!, up to 20 players attempt to take control of the game map, using monsters to enforce their territorial claims. Monsters! is a simple and quick game, but the variety of monsters and strategies make it a challenging game to win.
